NAKI GROUP Invests 10 Million Dollars on Lower Price’s Housing Project

NAKI GROUP has decided to invest 10 million dollars to build a housing project in southern Phnom Penh for low-income people.

CEO of NAKI Group Meas Nget Veasna, said in recently that the economic growth and increasing ofpeople’s income, especially lower middle class and middle class, so he decided to invest on housing project in  Borey Ravana in order to respond to the needs of the residents. The Borey is located on an area of 3 hectares of land which is sold between $ 35,000 to $ 60,000, depending on location and size of the house.

“I think that this project will be successful as the reasons I had mentioned above. Moreover I think the young couples who get salaries around 500 USD to 600 USD per month, they can buy it easily”  he said “ we can help them to borrow money from the bank in order to buy the house in their dream”.

“Borey RAVANA locates at the end of 60m street along the national road 2 (former CTN’s land), located in Prek Kampi district, Khan Dangkor, Phnom Penh” He added “The investment on this affordable house is in line with the social economic situation of Cambodia because our country is peaceful with economic growth every year, and the middle class is also growing”. He added.

Chrek Soknim, CEO of Century 21 Mekong, said that residential sales are still improving for this year due to increasing of population, increasing people’s income, and accepting credit from the banks.

“What I see there are many people buying a second home in the Borey is increasing, but when I look at the market trend, I see that the investors have started to capture the people who have  low-income and middle-income market because this group of people is continuing growing and growing”. He said

Associate director of CBRE Cambodia, Mrs. Sothida Ann, said that the real estate market, especially housing projects for low-income and middle-income people, is in high demand because of this group of people is becoming in large number and it is a real market base where investors should look to take advantage of this market. “During the consultations, I always told the investors to focus on middle-class housing because this is the biggest market, and the basis of success “. She said.
