Siem Reap: In order to speed up the construction progress of the Siem Reap new international airport project in Cambodia, China has sent a huge construction team to organize the project construction units to speed up the project construction.
On March 6, 131 Chinese construction teams from the Siem Reap New International Airport Project arrived at Siem Reap International Airport. They were warmly welcomed by the Cambodian side and helped with the immigration procedures.
According to the General Administration of Immigration of Cambodia, on the same day, 131 Chinese construction teams (8 women) arrived at Siem Reap International Airport by China Eastern Airlines. They will join the Siem Reap New International Airport project and accelerate the construction of the project.
Siem Reap New International Airport Project, which invested and constructed by Angkor International Airport Investment (Cambodia) Co., Ltd. (AIAI), is located in Soutr Nikom District, Siem Reap Province, which is about 40 kilometers away from the city center. The current construction progress is smooth and will be completed as planned in 2023.
