Samdech saw that the view of Sihanoukville of Cambodia as of March 2022 is very different from the past. Samdech wrote that Sihanoukville in the future will also grow more and more.
“This shows that in recent years, Sihanoukville has been rapidly changing its image through the presence of skyscrapers, infrastructure, bridges, flyovers and roads in the cities of the country,” he wrote.
“The presence of high-rise buildings, infrastructure, bridges, flyovers, roads have happened more and more, all of this is a reflection of Cambodia’s great achievements that have been achieved and never before,” he wrote.
In the vision of turning Sihanoukville into a smart city through the development of key infrastructure such as the Phnom Penh-Sihanoukville Expressway, which has invested about $ 2 billion, 37 roads and three wastewater treatment plants, which cost a total of $ 300 million and a deep-sea port project etc.
In recent year, Chinese has been the number one investors in Sihanoukville, but recently the provincial administration and provincial authorities have been considering promotions and facilitations to attract tourists as well as other foreign investors from ASEAN and European markets as well.
