National Road 5 attracts an over 270 hectares commercial center

Phnom Penh: An over 270 hectares housing development project invested by Chinese investors in Cambodia has been in full swing after the situation of Covid 19 in Cambodia has eased.

The project is located along National Road 5 Northern of Phnom Penh and will further boost residential and commercial investment potential in the area in the future.

Mr. Gong Hongda, project manager of Borey Phum Samrong, which is an investment of Prince Huan Yu Real Estate Group, said that the project’s master plan will show the potential for further development in the future.

He said that the project covers an area of over 270 hectares, including business houses, condominiums, shopping malls and entertainment for people living there, as well as people in Phnom Penh as a whole. The area will be developed into an attractive commercial area soon as the company is currently filling in the ground to prepare for the development according to plan.

“This project will boost the investment potential along National Road 5 to another level, and it can be said that Borey Phum Samrong is the largest project in the area and will be more attractive to investors,” he said.

He added that according to the commercial leading popularity of National Road No. 5, Borey Phum Samrong project will create two central business economic zones around the seven core points of the project, bringing together a group of noble consumers in Phnom Penh and strive to create a bustling new center in Phnom Penh which is a “One Window Commercial” gate.

He said that Borey Phum Samrong will also attract many well-known brands to find a location to establish their business in the future.

Mrs. An Sothyta, CEO of PropNex Cambodia Real Estate Company, also mentioned on the outskirts of Phnom Penh will be an attractive commercial area while currently housing development in the northern part of the capital also seems to have increased significantly.

“The development of infrastructure and utility systems will encourage the development and investment of more real estate, especially affordable housing, and bring the suburbs closer to Phnom Penh,” she said.

The plan to expand Phnom Penh has been successfully implemented through the development of the private and public sectors and has made the suburbs of Phnom Penh more and more developed year by year, especially land prices growth depends on the strength of development.
